The third working week of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly (June 3-8) will feature many important activities, with the highlight being the question-and-answer session.
This is content that attracts the attention and interest of a large number of voters and the public.
The interpellation session took place from June 4-6. The National Assembly focused its questioning on four groups of issues in the fields of: Natural Resources and Environment, Industry and Trade, Auditing, and Culture, Sports and Tourism .
According to the program, from 9:50 to 11:20 on June 6th, the Prime Minister (or an authorized Deputy Prime Minister) will clarify relevant issues and answer questions from National Assembly deputies.
The questioning sessions were televised and broadcast live so that voters and the public could follow them.
Another important item broadcast live on television and radio was the National Assembly's discussion on the approval of the 2022 state budget settlement (including the implementation of the provisions in Resolution No. 91/2023/QH15 on the approval of the 2021 state budget settlement and Resolution No. 94/2019/QH14 on the write-off of tax debts, waiver of late payment penalties and interest for taxpayers who are no longer able to pay the state budget).
During the working week, the National Assembly discussed several draft laws and resolutions, including: the Law on the Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives, and Supporting Tools (amended); the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Security Guards; the Law on Trade Unions (amended); the Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking (amended); the Law on Juvenile Justice; the Resolution on piloting the addition of some specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province; and the Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 119/2020/QH14 of the National Assembly on piloting the urban government model and some specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city.
The National Assembly also discussed the Investment Policy for the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the period 2025-2035; the proposal to ratify the accession document of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland to the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (CPTPP); and the National Maritime Spatial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
According to the agenda, during the working week, the National Assembly will vote to approve the Resolution on the Program for drafting laws and ordinances in 2025, the adjustment of the Program for drafting laws and ordinances in 2024, and the Resolution on the National Assembly's supervision program in 2025.
