The thematic exhibition “Dragon Decorative Artifacts at Thanh Hoa Museum” aims to introduce to the public documents and dragon decorative artifacts crafted from many materials, dating from Dong Son Culture to the early 20th century, which are being preserved by the provincial museum.

The exhibition "Dragon decorative artifacts at Thanh Hoa Museum" attracted the attention of many students.

Towards the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and to celebrate the New Year of the Dragon 2024, on the afternoon of February 1, the Provincial Museum organized an exhibition of two new topics: "Dragon decorative artifacts at Thanh Hoa Provincial Museum" and "Traditional incense making profession".

Of the 34,623 artifacts currently kept at the Provincial Museum, there are nearly 400 artifacts decorated with dragon motifs, dating from the Dong Son culture period to the early 20th century.

Introduce the image of the dragon through feudal dynasties to a large number of students in Thanh Hoa city.

Through a survey of artifacts in the warehouse, the Provincial Museum has selected more than 80 artifacts dating from the Dong Son culture period to the early 20th century to display and introduce to the public. The exhibition includes 2 parts: "Dragon image in Vietnamese culture" and "Dragon decorative artifacts at Thanh Hoa Museum".

In particular, the exhibition "Dragon decorative artifacts at Thanh Hoa Museum" is divided into 2 topics: "Dragon image in the 1st - 10th centuries" and "Dragon image through feudal dynasties".

Based on the existing exhibition facilities, the Provincial Museum has designed a suitable exhibition solution and added some additional media, photos, scientific documents... to create appeal and concretize the exhibition theme.

According to the plan, the thematic exhibition "Dragon Decorative Artifacts at Thanh Hoa Museum" will last from now until the end of 2024.

Along with that, the Provincial Museum organizes a special exhibition space “Traditional incense making”. Here, people and tourists can learn in detail about the process and directly experience the stages of traditional incense production.
