On June 28, in Beijing, Chinese Premier Li Qiang held talks with his Mongolian counterpart Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene and pledged to enhance political trust and mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.

At the talks, Prime Minister Li Qiang emphasized that China and Mongolia are two important neighboring countries, and the development of long-term and sustainable neighborly relations serves the fundamental interests of the people of the two countries.
As China accelerates its modernization, Beijing is willing to strengthen cooperation in various fields and welcomes Mongolia to share in the new opportunities brought by China's development.
Beijing is willing to work with Ulaanbaatar to fully implement the agreements and support issues concerning the two countries' core interests. At the same time, it will continue to deepen the China-Mongolia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, enhance mutual political trust, and promote the building of a community with a shared future.
For his part, Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene affirmed that strengthening cooperation with China is a priority in Mongolia's foreign policy.
According to Mr. Oyun-Erdene, Mongolia is willing to strengthen cooperation with China in areas such as ports, energy and mining, science and technology, tourism, anti-corruption, desertification control, urban renewal and youth-related issues to elevate bilateral relations to a new level.
At the end of the talks, Prime Minister Li Qiang and Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene witnessed the signing of many bilateral cooperation documents in areas such as transportation, finance, communications, and wildlife conservation.
