Can Tho City Public Administration Service Center will receive documents and return results of administrative procedure settlement from February 26, 2024.
On February 20, Can Tho City Electronic Information Portal informed that implementing Plan No. 56/KH-UBND dated March 17, 2023 of Can Tho City People's Committee to implement the Decision to establish Can Tho City Public Administration Service Center, Can Tho City People's Committee Office will organize the launching ceremony of Can Tho City Public Administration Service Center on February 28, 2024.
Accordingly, the Can Tho City Public Administration Service Center will receive documents and return results of administrative procedure settlement from February 26, 2024 for administrative procedures of specialized agencies under the City People's Committee, Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones Management Board (except the Department of Finance, Ethnic Minorities Committee, City Inspectorate).

Previously, on February 18, the Office of the People's Committee of Can Tho City inspected and installed equipment to prepare for the opening and operation of the Can Tho City Public Administration Service Center. To ensure the center operates smoothly and meets the needs of people and organizations contacting to carry out administrative procedures, the Office of the People's Committee of the City coordinated with units to prepare facilities, install electrical systems, computers, information systems, tables and chairs.
Regarding personnel work, the center has a director and 2 deputy directors (concurrently), each department and branch assigns 1 to 2 civil servants (and at least 1 reserve civil servant) to directly receive people's records at the center.
It is known that this is a special administrative unit under the Office of the City People's Committee, with its own seal and account to carry out assigned tasks and powers. The center is the focal point for receiving, guiding, providing information, and providing services in resolving and returning results of city-level administrative procedures.
The goal is to implement a one-stop, one-stop mechanism in handling administrative procedures in a transparent manner from the stage of receiving documents to returning results to better serve organizations and individuals; to build a professional and modern administration.
