Accordingly, the MM Mega Market Da Nang shopping center is located in the planning research area in Hoa Khanh Nam ward (Lien Chieu district, Da Nang), with the following specific boundary:

It is bordered to the southeast by Nguyen Sinh Sac Street; to the northwest by Tran Van Ky Street; to the southwest by Le Doan Nha Street; and to the northwest by a planned road.

The area covered by the planning project is approximately 19,197 m².

The planning includes the construction of new main commercial buildings with functions such as shopping areas, food courts , hypermarkets, restrooms, waste disposal, underground water tanks, fire fighting water tanks, wastewater tanks, motorbike parking, lighting, water supply and drainage systems, etc.

Regarding the reasons for establishing the plan, according to the Lien Chieu District People's Committee, the district is experiencing rapid and widespread urbanization, contributing significantly to changing the urban landscape of the district in particular and the northwestern part of the city in general; creating favorable conditions for the district's comprehensive development in terms of economy , society, national defense, and security, gradually establishing itself as a Type 1 district in the northwestern part of the city.

However, alongside the positive results of urbanization, the widespread exploitation of land resources has led to a shrinking of land reserves for the development of commercial and service facilities in the district, especially land allocated for markets and shopping centers.

The investment in the construction of MM Mega Market Da Nang aims to meet the business needs of the people, promote the development of commercial and service activities, and contribute to the economic, social, security, and national defense development of the area.

It is known that in 2023, the Da Nang City People's Committee issued a decision recognizing the winning bid for the land use rights of a commercial and service area (supermarket) in the southeastern area of ​​the student dormitory (Lien Chieu district) to MM Mega Market (Vietnam) Co., Ltd.

MM Mega Market (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. was granted a land use right certificate by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the city and an investment registration certificate by the Department of Planning and Investment.
