Hanoi City Cultural Center: Focus on preserving and promoting traditional cultural values

In 2024, Hanoi City Cultural Center is excited and proud to have made many efforts to contribute to the common development achievements of the capital's culture and the country.

The Center has organized a series of major cultural and artistic events such as festivals, competitions, performances, and contests on major holidays and important events of the capital and the country to arouse national pride and promote cultural movements at the grassroots level.

The activities are organized in a variety of forms and contents, demonstrating the richness of Hanoi's cultural life. Mass Art Festival “Hanoi – Faith and Hope”

For grassroots movement guidance activities: The Center implements programs and resolutions of the City Party Committee on cultural development and cultural industry. Diversifies types of festivals, competitions, performances, edits and publishes publications to celebrate major holidays. Organizes training courses to improve professional skills for grassroots cultural cadres.

Cultural activities of the Club: 18 clubs under the Center with 1,080 members, always receive attention, focus on training, and improve the quality of activities. In particular, the Capital Children's Art Club stands out with many rich activities, giving wings to young talents. Grassroots art clubs and art performance training classes have created conditions for young people to express their talents and love for the culture of the Capital.

Film distribution and screening activities: The Center focuses on using cinema to serve political , propaganda and cultural tasks. Organizing many film screenings to serve historical and political events, and for people in remote areas. In particular, the Center organized the screening of the film "Peach, Pho and Piano" at Kim Dong Cinema, receiving great attention from the audience.

Activities serving political tasks: In addition to organizing many art performances to celebrate holidays, New Year, and important events of the country to widely propagate the historical, cultural, and revolutionary traditions of the nation, patriotism, heroism, self-reliance, and the spirit of great national unity, the Center also focuses on preserving and promoting traditional cultural values through participating in national mass art festivals such as the 7th Then singing and Tinh lute art festival of the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups in 2024. As a result, the Center won the overall prize, and was awarded 2 Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; won the performance prizes including 2 A prizes, 1 B prize, 1 C prize, etc.
