"I have to try harder than my teammates"

During the training session on the afternoon of July 8, striker Dinh Bac shared with the media about this issue: "Competition helps the whole team. Whoever performs well will be selected. Each player must try to perform to be on the final list. My goal is to always want to contribute to the flag and the shirt, so I have to try very hard. I need to try harder than my teammates because I have to go through a long injury break to be able to be on the final list and play."
The CAHN club striker added about the training period of the Vietnam U.23 team in Ba Ria - Vung Tau : "The two friendly matches with Taiwan U.23 were very valuable, helping the whole team have better connections before the Southeast Asian U.23 tournament. During the training sessions, coach Kim Sang-sik as well as the members of the coaching staff conveyed many things about the spirit and awareness of training, in order to help the whole team have the best quality training sessions. From there, the Vietnam U.23 team aims to conquer the goals set in the upcoming tournament.
Coach Kim also always mentions the competitive spirit, the whole team must enter the field to play fiercely, enthusiastically, and try to get good results, even in friendly matches. Regarding expertise, Coach Kim teaches a lot about passing and controlling the ball.
Dinh Bac can become the explosive force of the Vietnam U.23 team in the upcoming tournament.

In this training session, Coach Kim Sang-sik continued to train his players in tactics, "sharpening" their attacking moves as well as how to maintain team distance when defending. All players were focused and determined. The young golden star warriors understood that this was their last chance to show off, impress the coaching staff, thereby being included in the final list. In addition, before the training session, the Korean strategist also shared a lot about competitive spirit and solidarity.
The Vietnam U.23 team will continue to train in Ba Ria - Vung Tau until July 13. On July 14, the whole team will depart from Tan Son Nhat airport to Indonesia to compete in the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 Championship. The goal of coach Kim Sang-sik and his team is to successfully defend the championship title.
