Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nong Thanh Tung attended the opening ceremony of the new school year at the provincial Ethnic Boarding High School.

On the morning of September 5, joining the jubilant atmosphere of the whole country, the Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (PTDT) held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the education sector's tradition and open the 2025-2026 school year. Attending the ceremony were Comrade Nong Thanh Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of departments, branches, unions, armed forces of the province, representatives of parents, teachers, staff and all students of the school.

Grade 10 students were welcomed at the opening ceremony of the new school year.

In the 2024-2025 school year, with a spirit of solidarity, high consensus, and determination to turn challenges into opportunities, the school has successfully completed the political tasks of the school year. A number of important targets have been achieved and exceeded the plan: 100% of students are classified as good at training; over 96% are classified as good and excellent in study; 10 students achieved the title of excellent students; won 50 provincial excellent student awards; 2 students participated in the national excellent student selection team; over 20 provincial awards in other competitions. 100% of students passed the high school graduation exam, the average graduation exam score was 7.38 points, the highest in the province with 17 points of 10, many students were admitted to top universities such as: Foreign Trade, Polytechnic, Medicine, Pharmacy, National Economics, Security, Police... The school was recognized as "Excellently completing the task" and was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the school has 56 staff, teachers, employees and 509 students. Of which, 504 are ethnic minority students; 35 are ethnic minority students, very few of whom are eligible for direct admission; 9 students who won national prizes were directly admitted; students from difficult family circumstances, orphans, poor households, and near-poor households account for nearly 30%. Entering the new school year, the school continues to identify key tasks with the keyword "Implementation", focusing on implementing well the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws on education as well as 10 key tasks and solutions for the 2025-2026 school year of the Education sector; effectively implementing the 2018 General Education Program; gradually and effectively implementing Resolution 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development, enhancing digital transformation, and comprehensive education; Step by step build the school into a cultural, safe, smart school, meeting National Standards by the end of 2025.

Leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors presented flowers to congratulate the school.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nong Thanh Tung sent his best wishes to the staff, teachers and students of the Cao Bang Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. He hoped that the staff, teachers, employees and students of the school would continue to promote the tradition of studiousness, solidarity, strive to innovate teaching methods, improve the quality of education, become a school that nurtures dreams for children of ethnic minorities; constantly train, strive, achieve many achievements in studying and cultivating, contributing to building the homeland of Cao Bang more and more prosperous.

After the traditional opening ceremony of the school, the delegates, all cadres, teachers, staff and over 500 students of the Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities attended the 80th Anniversary of the Education Sector's Tradition and the Opening of the 2025-2026 School Year organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, which was broadcast live on VTV1, Vietnam Television, and connected online to all educational and training institutions nationwide; participated in important ceremonies such as flag-raising, singing the national anthem, giving speeches and beating the opening drum of the Party and State leaders.
