On the morning of September 6, the People's Committee of Bac Gia Nghia Ward, Lam Dong Province organized the launching ceremony of "Planting trees and flowers to welcome the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030" and the emulation movement "Saturday for a bright, green, clean and beautiful environment", responding to the experience of Lam Dong tourist destinations .

Attending were: Chairman of Bac Gia Nghia Ward People's Committee Trinh Anh; Miss International Environment Vietnam 2025 Tran Thi My Linh and the collective leadership of the People's Committee, departments, branches, organizations and a large number of people in the ward.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee - Trinh Anh emphasized that the launching ceremony aims to raise awareness of cadres, civil servants, union members, association members, households and people in protecting the environment, improving the urban landscape, building a green, clean and beautiful ward.

At the same time, linking tree planting activities with environmental sanitation movements, building civilized urban lifestyles, and reducing emissions contributes to minimizing the impact of climate change.

Mr. Trinh Anh called for each family to plant at least one flower pot or tree; each neighborhood to build at least one flower project or green space; agencies, schools, and businesses to simultaneously build green spaces, flower landscapes, and environmental protection activities.

The Chairman of the Ward People's Committee noted that planting trees and cleaning the environment must be implemented synchronously, economically, practically, and avoid formalities. Trees and flowers planted must be suitable for the climate, grow well, have landscape value, be safe, and be easy to care for. Waste must be collected and treated to ensure requirements.

On this occasion, Miss Environment Vietnam International 2025 Tran Thi My Linh presented 5 gifts to environmental sanitation workers in Bac Gia Nghia ward.

After the launching ceremony, officials and people of Bac Gia Nghia ward planted 200 trees and flowers of various kinds such as money trees, small paper flowers, Thai ten o'clock flowers, five-color chrysanthemums, rain lilies... planted in flower pots on 23/3 street, Bac Gia Nghia ward.

At the same time, clean up at Thien Nga Lake flower garden, Dak Nong bridge flower garden; Martyrs cemetery, Gia Nghia market; some main roads and premises of agencies and units in the ward.
