In particular, the V-SAT exam results are not only used for admission to Can Tho University, but are also recognized by a number of other universities in the region, expanding the admission opportunities for candidates.
With the attraction shown through each exam, Can Tho University will continue to organize the 4th and 5th V-SAT exams on May 23, 24, 25 and June 6, 7, 8, 2025 respectively.
This year, Can Tho University plans to enroll 10,500 students for 117 regular university programs, through 6 admission methods.
The V-SAT exam has been organized by Can Tho University since 2024. The exam has been organized safely and effectively; the quality of the V-SAT exam ensures high reliability and is trusted byuniversities to recruit students with increasing numbers.
In 2025, the V-SAT test will be reviewed and updated by the National Center for Testing and Educational Quality Assessment (KTĐGQG); the test format structure and form will be adjusted to be more suitable for the assessment of high school students' abilities according to the 2018 General Education Program (high school level) to meet the increasing demands of university admissions.
Accordingly, the exam content closely follows the current general education program and is highly classified. The basis for assessment of exam subjects is the required capacity requirements specified in the overall program and subject programs. The proportion of knowledge units is suitable for classification and ranking in selecting groups of students with the capacity to apply to universities according to each major and group of majors. This meets the majority of high school students and is also suitable for the admission requirements of each unit.
The test question bank is built according to a scientific process, applying modern theories and techniques of measurement and evaluation science in education to ensure reliability and validity.
The question bank has a large number of questions to ensure objectivity and fairness in testing and evaluation. In addition, the standardized question bank allows comparison, contrast and monitoring of student capacity according to student groups, exam skills, etc.
The test results allow for individual diagnostic reporting, providing details of the candidate's strengths and weaknesses to assist in choosing the right course of study.
Easy and effective in organization and implementation: The exam is organized entirely on the computer. In addition to the advantages of being objective and fair, this method is also very convenient in organizing the exam and announcing the results, flexible in terms of time and location of the exam.
