CMC University dedicates 96 billion VND scholarship fund, gives laptops to new students

In 2025, CMC University will enroll 1,510 students for 15 majors and training programs. The school also continues to implement the "CMC - Because you deserve it" scholarship fund worth 96 billion VND and a laptop donation program for new students.

Many incentives for new students

In order to create the best conditions for students to study in a technological environment, candidates enrolling at CMC University will have the opportunity to receive a laptop if they meet the following criteria:

- Candidates have a total score of 31/40 points in the 1st semester of high school study results of grade 12 or the entire 12th grade year according to the subject combination registered for admission in 2025 or participate in the 2025 Competency Assessment Test of CMC University (CMC-TEST).

- Candidates choose CMC as their first, second, or third choice on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training .

This is the second consecutive year that CMC University has implemented a program to give laptops to new students.

Previously, CMC University announced the AI ​​University strategy - transforming AI across the entire university with the goal of turning CMC University into a modern, innovative learning environment, improving AI application capacity for students and lecturers.

In addition, CMC University also offers a scholarship fund "CMC - Because you deserve it" worth a total of 96 billion VND for candidates with excellent academic achievements enrolling in 2025, including: 30 full scholarships "CMC Khai Liberal" worth 100% of the full course tuition; 50 scholarships "CMC Sang Tao" worth 70% of the full course tuition; 70 scholarships "CMC Vanguard" worth 50% of the full course tuition; 150 scholarships "CMC Kien Tao" worth 30% of the full course tuition.

Scholarship conditions for 2025

The scholarship will be considered based on criteria such as foreign language certificates, academic transcripts, high school exam scores, and national and international awards. The scholarship will be applied throughout the entire study process if the student maintains a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.

Admission to 15 majors and training programs

According to the enrollment information announced by CMC University, the school plans to enroll 1,510 students, with 15 majors/training programs. Admission methods include:

- Admission based on high school graduation exam results, plus priority points

- Admission is based on grade 12 transcripts with average score (GPA) of subjects according to the admission subject group, without adding priority points.

- Direct admission

- Admission based on the results of the CMC University Competency Assessment Test (CMC-TEST)

Admission criteria and combination of CMC University

Instead of using traditional admission combinations such as A00, C00, D00,... CMC University uses new, more flexible admission combinations for each major. Candidates can choose any 2 subjects from 10 prescribed subjects (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Informatics, Technology, Foreign Languages, Economic - Legal Education and Literature). Expanding the list of admission subjects helps candidates optimize their scores based on their comprehensive learning ability.

Also in 2025, the school affirms that it will commit to jobs for graduates with a GPA of 3.2 or more at CMC, Samsung and partners. In parallel with the training process, students will have a full semester of internship at leading domestic and foreign enterprises. Many students have received direct recruitment offers from companies right after completing their internship.
