According to Iranian media reports on April 6, an airstrike in Baharestan district, Tehran province, killed 23 people, including four girls and two boys under the age of 10.
In the city of Qom, at least five people died after a residential building was attacked. Six other people were confirmed dead in Bandar-e Lengeh, southern Iran.
Attacks were reported in dozens of cities, including Bandar Abbas, Ahvaz, Mahshahr, Shiraz, Isfahan, and Karaj, causing widespread damage to infrastructure and residential areas.
One notable target was Sharif University in Tehran, Iran's leading science and technology institution. The university suffered extensive damage, with many areas on campus, including the mosque and laboratories, affected.
According to Iran's Ministry of Science and Technology , at least 30 universities across the country have been affected since the conflict began on February 28.

Iran's First Vice President, Mohammad Reza Aref, accused the US of using tunnel-penetrating bombs against Sharif University, while also criticizing US President Donald Trump. Mohammad Reza Aref emphasized that the attacks cannot undermine Iran's intellectual foundation.
Jagan Chapagain, Secretary-General and CEO of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, expressed concern over reports that ambulances belonging to the Iranian Red Crescent Society continue to be attacked. He stated that since the conflict escalated, numerous rescue vehicles have been destroyed and four volunteers have been killed while on duty.
Iran has announced it will take retaliatory measures. Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei stated that the US statements were provocative and affirmed that Iran would not accept any demands deemed unfavorable.
Senior advisor Ali Akbar Velayati warned that any missteps in the current context could seriously disrupt global energy flows and trade, especially as the Strait of Hormuz – the shipping route for about 20% of the world's oil and gas – is experiencing restrictions.
