According to the school's leaders, in 2024, about 13/27 majors of the University of Natural Sciences will have a benchmark score of around 20-21/30 points.
The highest benchmark scores in the Information Technology group are Computer Science and Information; Data Science with 34 - 35.5 points. Ranked second are Mathematics and Mathematics with benchmark scores ranging from 33 - 35 points. These 4 groups are all calculated on a 40-point scale.
The lowest standard score group includes Geology, Oceanography , Water Resources and Environment, and Meteorology and Climate with scores ranging from 20 to 20.5. This is the total score of the three high school graduation exam subjects according to the combination, plus priority points, calculated on a 30-point scale.

The University of Science's regular university admissions council also announced the minimum score for receiving applications for admission in 2024 using the school's 2024 high school graduation exam results.
Of which, Computer Science and Information Technology, Data Science still ranked first with 31 points. Ranking second were Mathematics and Mathematics and Informatics with the same floor score of 30 points. The remaining majors remained stable, fluctuating from 20 to 21 points.
In 2024, the University of Science will enroll 1,850 students through 6 methods: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of Hanoi National University; Considering high school graduation exam scores; Considering the capacity assessment test scores of Hanoi National University; Using international certificates; Combining graduation exam scores with international foreign language certificates.
Of which, the School reserves about 70% of the admission quota based entirely on graduation exam scores, the remaining 20% is based on competency assessment exam scores.
