On March 15th, Hanoi Law University officially announced its 2024 undergraduate admissions plan.
This year, the university is recruiting 2,500 students for four training programs: law, economic law, international commercial law, and English language (specializing in legal English).
The school maintains four admission methods, including direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; admission of candidates participating in the monthly/quarterly/annual rounds of the "Road to Olympia" competition; admission based on academic transcripts for candidates graduating in 2024; and admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam.
Of these, the school has allocated 1,190 places for admission based on academic transcripts and 1,190 places for admission based on high school graduation exam scores. The total number of places for these two methods is 2,380, equivalent to approximately 95% of the total number of places.
For the academic transcript-based admission method, applicants applying to study at the main campus must have achieved excellent academic performance throughout grades 10, 11, and the first semester of grade 12. The academic results for each subject in the chosen subject combination in the first semester of grade 12 must be 7.5 points or higher.
At the Dak Lak branch campus, candidates only need to have achieved excellent academic results in two semesters, with a first-semester grade of 12th grade in subjects within the chosen combination scoring 7 or higher.
For admission based on the 2024 high school graduation exam results, candidates applying to study at the main campus in Hanoi must have a total score of at least 22 points in the subjects of the C00 admission combination, and at least 18 points in other combinations (excluding priority points).
Additionally, for international commercial law and English language majors, the minimum score for the English subject in the high school graduation exam is 7 points.
Candidates applying to and studying at the school's branch campus in Dak Lak province must have a total score of at least 15 points in the subjects of the admission test combination (excluding priority points).
The deadline for submitting early admission applications is expected to be from May 8th to May 15th. The school is expected to announce the early admission results to candidates on May 25th.
The projected tuition fee for the regular program at Hanoi Law University in the 2024-2025 academic year is over 2.5 million VND per month, equivalent to 725,000 VND per credit. Each semester lasts 5 months, and a course lasts 40 months (140 credits).
For students in the high-quality program, tuition fees are approximately 5.1 million VND per month. This includes 725,000 VND per credit; while the fees for professional internships, graduation theses, and national defense and security education are 1.6 million VND per credit.
