Phenikaa University becomes the 10th 'university' of Vietnam

After more than 6 years of restructuring with a new name since November 2018, Phenikaa University has undergone rapid transformation, becoming the youngest school to successfully convert to a university model.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long has just signed Decision No. 775/QD-TTg to convert Phenikaa University into Phenikaa University.

According to the decision, Phenikaa University is a private higher education institution, its organizational structure and operations are based on Phenikaa University in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Higher Education and relevant legal provisions. The reorganization process must ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the relevant parties and the normal operations of the higher education institution.

Thus, Phenikaa University becomes the 10th university in Vietnam. The remaining universities include Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Thai Nguyen University, Hue University, Da Nang University, Hanoi University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics , Duy Tan University and National Economics University.

Phenikaa University, formerly Thanh Tay University, was established on October 10, 2007. Since 2017, the school has officially become a member of Phenikaa Group.

The school is currently teaching majors in four main fields: Engineering - Technology, Economics - Business, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Health Sciences.

By 2025, Phenikaa University will have a training scale of nearly 25,000 students with 64 regular university training programs, 10 international joint programs, 16 master's training programs and 11 doctoral training programs.

Phenikaa University has established 5 training schools: Phenikaa School of Engineering, Phenikaa School of Economics, Phenikaa School of Medicine and Pharmacy, Phenikaa School of Information Technology, Phenikaa School of Foreign Languages ​​and Social Sciences.
