Improve quality to meet the requirements of training high-quality human resources

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet, Principal of Thuy Loi University, congratulated the doctoral students and master's students on completing the training course; acknowledged and commended their efforts and hard work in studying and researching to successfully complete the training program, officially becoming doctors and masters of the school.

“The essence of receiving a degree is not the end of the learning path but the beginning of a new journey in the process of learning, researching and creating new things to properly implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, becoming elites contributing to building the country in the era of national growth”, Mr. Nguyen Trung Viet shared.

This year, among the 8 new PhDs awarded degrees, the school was honored to award a degree to a Laotian PhD, Phoutsadee SIDA, in Water Resources Engineering. Representing the new PhDs and Masters awarded today, Dr. Phoutsadee SIDA was honored to say that her achievements and those of the new PhDs and Masters were thanks to the dedicated, enthusiastic support and facilitation of the school's leadership and teachers.

Besides, on behalf of the new PhDs and Masters, she expressed her hope to continue studying and researching, and to contribute her talent and knowledge to building the country.

The enrollment and postgraduate training of the University of Water Resources continues to maintain a stable and sustainable trend, meeting the requirements of training high-quality human resources in the context of integration and innovation in higher education .

Up to now, the school has built and implemented 16 master's training programs and 15 doctoral training programs, demonstrating a synchronous development orientation between research and application, linking training with the practical needs of society and industry.

At the master's level, the University of Water Resources currently trains 16 majors, including: Hydraulic construction engineering; Construction geotechnics; Construction engineering; Marine construction engineering; Traffic construction engineering; Water resources engineering; Water supply and drainage engineering; Hydrology; Environmental science; Construction management; Economic management; Business administration; Construction economics; Mechanical engineering; Electrical engineering and Information technology.

At the doctoral level, the school trains 15 majors, including: Hydraulic construction engineering; Marine construction engineering; Water resources engineering; Water supply and drainage engineering; Hydrology; Environmental engineering; Soil and water environment; Solid mechanics; Construction geotechnics; Construction engineering; Dynamic mechanical engineering; Construction management; Economic management and Information technology.
