On August 2, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy (BMU) held a graduation ceremony and awarded degrees to doctors, pharmacists and nurses in 2025.
During the training period, with efforts in studying and practicing, 351 students of the school have mastered knowledge of both theoretical and practical subjects, and have initially become familiar with scientific research. Of which, the rate of excellent graduates is 3.1%, and the rate of good students is 28.8%.
Nguyen Tran Thu Uyen - New Bachelor of Pharmacy happily said: "The years of studying at BMU have equipped me with a solid foundation of knowledge. From how to analyze and prepare drugs to instructing patients on how to use drugs effectively. In particular, the practical lessons in the laboratory and at the hospital pharmacy help me turn knowledge into skills, preparing me for future work. I am very grateful to the school and teachers!".
Sharing the same sentiment, Le Thi Tuyet Nhung (Dao ethnic group) - the new valedictorian of the Bachelor of Nursing program expressed that she will bring the knowledge, skills and medical ethics learned from teachers and school back to serve the village.

"In every class, teachers are enthusiastic in holding hands and guiding students in the smallest things so that they can improve every day. The school is also constantly innovating to better meet the output quality threshold, helping students to be confident in their knowledge, skills and medical ethics. A field that serves public health, I wish to return to my hometown to serve my village. At the same time, ethnic minorities like me need to make an effort to study and contribute to building a better homeland," Tuyet Nhung said.

In his congratulatory speech to the new graduates, Professor, Doctor, Senior Physician Cao Tien Duc - Principal of the school emphasized that the university journey is not only a time to study and practice knowledge and skills, but also a journey to hone character, aspiration and spirit of service. "I affirm that every sleepless night with textbooks, every shift on duty or every stressful exam are stepping stones to help you mature and become a doctor with both knowledge and heart," Professor Cao Tien Duc expressed.
On this occasion, the BMU Principal also expressed his deep gratitude to parents, teachers and those who accompanied and created this meaningful journey.
According to Dr. Nguyen Sanh Tung - Vice Principal of the school, the graduating class of 2025 has a total of 351 students, including: 243 students majoring in Medicine, 86 students majoring in Pharmacy and 22 students majoring in Nursing. Of these, there are 5 valedictorians and 11 students graduating with honors. The school also honored and rewarded 11 students who made many positive contributions to the activities of the Youth Union and Association.

One of the most sacred moments of the ceremony was the Hippocratic oath of the new doctors, marking their transition from students to those who officially embark on a noble journey: caring for and protecting public health.
