University of Social Sciences and Humanities removes block C combination in admission to 16 majors

In 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU will enroll students in 3 ways:

- Method 1: Direct admission and priority admission according to current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;

- Method 2: Consider the valid results of the Hanoi National University's Competency Assessment (HSA) exam;

- Method 3: Consider the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

This year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities uses the following admission combinations for the following majors:

Thus, compared to previous years, in 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi will no longer use the combination C00 (Literature, History, Geography) in admission to many majors, including: Journalism; Social work; Oriental studies; Korean studies; Management science; Public relations; Information management; Tourism and travel services management; Hotel management; Office management; International studies; Psychology; Information - Library; Cultural studies; Vietnamese studies; Sociology.

This information confused many candidates when it was announced close to the time of the high school graduation exam and university entrance exam.

In 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi will enroll 2,650 full-time university students.

Regarding tuition fees, the school plans to collect fees for quality-tested training programs according to the technical economic standards project and the tuition fee increase roadmap for the following school years will not exceed 10% compared to previous school years.

The remaining training programs will be collected according to the provisions of Decree 97/2023/ND-CP stipulating the mechanism for collecting and managing tuition fees for educational institutions in the national education system and policies on tuition exemption, reduction, and support for learning costs; service prices in the field of education and training with expected tuition fees for the QH-2025-X course; specifically:
