Hong Bang International University has just been approved by the Ministry of Education and Training to open a master's degree program in dentistry. Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor Le Duc Lanh, Head of the Department of Dentistry at Hong Bang International University, said that the school is the first non-public institution to offer postgraduate training in this field.
The regular training program lasts 2 years (4 semesters), with tuition fees of 35 million VND/semester.

Mr. Lanh informed: "The master's program enrolls students in two forms: entrance exam and selection. With the selection form, candidates need to graduate from a regular dental major with honors or higher and have a foreign language certificate of level 3 or higher. Candidates who do not meet the selection conditions will participate in the entrance exam."
If taking the entrance exam, candidates must take basic subjects (physiology), specialized subjects (dentistry and maxillofacial surgery) and English.
According to Mr. Lanh, the school is recruiting 30 students for the first master's degree course in dentistry. The deadline for receiving applications is April 17.
The Faculty of Dentistry of Hong Bang International University was established in 2010. After the assessment process of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Training, this faculty was allowed to enroll and train dentists from the 2017-2018 school year and became the first non-public university to open this major.
Recently, in March 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry completed the quality assessment of the regular university training program in accordance with the standards and quality assessment process of the Ministry of Education and Training.
