(Dan Tri) - After news of poor quality food, food suppliers for TV Primary School simultaneously stopped delivering food, making it impossible for the unit to organize meals for boarding students.

On September 20, TV Primary School (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Province) announced that it would temporarily stop organizing meals for boarding students from September 22. The school's decision was made after food suppliers simultaneously requested to temporarily stop deliveries, leaving the school without a source of food supply.

While waiting for the invitation to bid for food suppliers and completing the required documents, parents need to proactively pick up and drop off students after school ends.

As Dan Tri reported, recently, a Facebook social network account named "Nguyen Thanh" posted information about a unit repeatedly providing food of poor quality to TV Primary School.

Specifically, in the 2024-2025 school year, the supplier delivered to the school 10kg of smelly pork bones that showed signs of turning green; 35kg of frozen beef balls that smelled, without packaging or labels; 60kg of pork that, after boiling, had a dark green color and a strange smell; 50kg of wet, smelly pre-sliced ​​beef...

The incident has outraged public opinion, with dozens of parents whose children are studying at TV Primary School requesting information from the school about the incident.

On September 17, the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province and the People's Committee of Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat requested the leaders of TV Primary School to report the incident.

On September 20, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan signed a document requesting competent authorities to strengthen food safety control at educational institutions. At the same time, competent authorities need to clarify information posted on social networks about the issue of substandard food at TV Primary School; determine the cause and responsibility of related organizations and individuals, propose solutions to overcome the consequences, and strictly handle any violations.
