Kien Luong High School has achieved national standards level 2.

On the morning of May 27th, Kien Luong High School in Kien Luong commune (An Giang province) held a ceremony to receive the certificate recognizing it as a national standard high school at level 2 and to summarize the 2025-2026 school year. Mr. Huynh Van Hoa, Deputy Director of the An Giang Provincial Department of Education and Training, attended the event.

Representatives from the An Giang Provincial Department of Education and Training and the Kien Luong Commune People's Committee presented the certificate recognizing Kien Luong High School as meeting national standards at level 2 to the school's Board of Directors.

Kien Luong High School was established in October 1987. After nearly 40 years, the school has continuously developed in both the number and quality of students; 100% of teachers meet the professional qualification standards, with over 21% exceeding them; and the percentage of Party members is over 65%.

The school boasts modern and spacious facilities, including 34 classrooms, numerous playgrounds and training grounds, and a multi-purpose hall; 100% of the theoretical classrooms are equipped with LCD screens of 65 inches or larger and are connected to the internet; there are 10 subject-specific classrooms and 7 rooms for subject departments; the school library meets Level 2 standards.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the school will have 17 teachers with excellent teaching skills at the school level (accounting for 27%); 48 students winning prizes in the provincial-level excellent student competition; and 19 students winning prizes in the provincial-level calculator-based math competition…

The school effectively implemented the socialization of education by awarding scholarships and health insurance cards to students from disadvantaged backgrounds; supporting the education promotion fund; providing lunch for students from disadvantaged backgrounds… totaling over 472 million VND.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Luong commune, Tran Binh Trong, along with philanthropists, presented a scholarship worth over 40 million VND to Ha Luu Thanh Binh, a student in class 12A2. One sponsor also provided an additional 50% scholarship for Thanh Binh during her university studies.
