The eulogy by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the City's 515 Steering Committee Nguyen Chi Tai stated: Following the sacred call of the Fatherland, millions of young people from all over the country went to fight to protect the Fatherland and carry out the noble international duty in the brotherly country of Laos. In the life-and-death fight for a great cause, for the noble international duty, losses were inevitable, many Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts heroically sacrificed their lives in the friendly country of Laos, including the two provinces of Salavan and Sekong.

In the past time, under the direction of the Special Working Group of the Governments of Vietnam and Laos, the Ministry of National Defense , the Military Region 4 Command, with the traditional morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", over the past 30 years, Hue city has closely coordinated with the two provinces of Salavan and Sekong to search, collect and organize 28 times, bringing 963 martyrs' remains back to the beloved motherland. In the dry season of 2024 - 2025 alone, Team 192, the City Military Command searched, collected and collected 10 martyrs' remains (all of whom are unknown) in the two provinces of Salavan and Sekong.

On behalf of the city leaders, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai expressed his gratitude to the Party Committee, government, people and armed forces of Salavan and Sekong provinces for their attention, support and close coordination in searching, collecting and repatriating the remains of martyrs. At the same time, he acknowledged and praised the noble and meaningful work and efforts of the officers and soldiers of the 192 Collection Team who overcame all difficulties and hardships in searching, collecting and repatriating the remains of heroic martyrs to their homeland.
