The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the family solemnly held a memorial service for comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The coffin of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong lies at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.

The funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was held with the State funeral ceremony on July 25 and 26. The Funeral Committee consisted of 35 members headed by President To Lam. The Funeral Organizing Committee consisted of 27 members headed by Politburo member and Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat Luong Cuong.

The funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at the National Funeral House No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on July 25 and from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on July 26.

The funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was held at the same time at Thong Nhat Hall, Ho Chi Minh City and at his hometown in Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi.

According to the official announcement, the Funeral Organizing Committee will facilitate and arrange for people to visit General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong from 6:00 p.m. today, July 25. When visiting, people must bring their citizen identification cards with electronic chips or mobile phones with VNeID installed and activated at level 2 to scan the QR code.

Hanoi City Police have arranged necessary equipment at each QR code scanner installation point to serve people to conveniently scan the code when visiting General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
