According to a VNA reporter in Jakarta, on April 30, Indonesiawindow published an article stating that Vietnam has undergone significant changes and development since the historic milestone of April 30, 1975, when the South was liberated and the country was reunified.

The article states that during the anti-American resistance war in Vietnam from 1954 to 1975, millions of people heroically sacrificed their lives. After the war ended, drastic changes took place in Vietnam.

The economic development through the Doi Moi process since 1986 has been highly appreciated by the world. This historical turning point marks Vietnam entering a period of integration.

The Vietnamese government has been actively researching, proactive and receptive to create momentum for rapid and sustainable development. Vietnam's reform process has attracted widespread attention from international researchers, investors and businessmen.

Many forums and seminars have been held with the participation of experts and scholars around the world to provide recommendations and solutions to help the country develop.

The article notes that the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) Singapore once organized a conference with the theme “Vietnam: Thirty Years of Renovation and Beyond.”

The international community has also witnessed and recognized nearly 40 years of "Doi Moi" journey, Vietnam's economic reform from a backward country with more than 90% of the population working in agriculture to become one of the most dynamic economies in Asia.

Praise for Vietnam's achievements from experts and diplomats who have worked in Vietnam, including from organizations such as the World Bank (WB), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), etc., fosters confidence in Vietnam's bright economic prospects in the future.

The article further emphasized that Vietnam has also escaped political and economic isolation to develop foreign relations, expand international integration, and deepen bilateral, regional and multilateral relations.

Bilateral relations with Indonesia, a friendly neighboring country, have achieved many achievements and improvements to overcome difficulties, including responses to the current global situation.

The author of the article believes that the development achievements of Vietnam and Indonesia are examples of how the two countries have adapted to environmental changes and quickly adjusted themselves.

The visit of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam and a delegation of ministers and senior officials to Indonesia (March 9-11) and the meeting with President Prabowo Subianto demonstrated the strong relationship and commitment between the two countries.

Vietnam's economic structure is moving towards modernization, in which the contribution of agriculture to the overall economy has decreased and the service sector and industrial production have increased.

Industry and construction have become sectors that contribute greatly to economic growth thanks to the application of scientific and technological advances and the development of new, high-tech industries.

The agricultural sector has undergone significant changes, transforming Vietnam from a high-consumption country into one of the largest exporters of rice, coffee, rubber, nuts and seafood.

At the same time, Vietnam is also investing in tourist destinations in the North, Central and South to attract foreign tourists.

At the end of the article, the author emphasized that in general, the "Doi Moi" process and other positive reform measures are bringing great efficiency to help Vietnam develop more and more./.
