Banks recommend that customers quickly check the type of card they are using. If the card only has a magnetic strip and no chip, they should proactively go to a transaction point or use the banking application to switch to a chip card.
In case the card has an integrated chip, customers can continue to use it normally without any changes. According to the roadmap of the State Bank, commercial banks are required to completely stop using magnetic cards and switch to domestic chip cards in 2025.
