Their entrepreneurial journey, from overcoming numerous challenges at the beginning to building their own brand, has inspired many other young people on their path to establishing themselves and their careers.
Returning to his hometown after completing his police service, Pham Duc Huy (28 years old, residing in Pong Drang commune) decided to follow in his parents' footsteps and become a beekeeper.
In mid-2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted traditional distribution channels, Huy quickly shifted to online sales. He live-streamed the honey harvesting and processing process at his farm. This not only helped consumers understand the production process but also dispelled any doubts about the honey's quality. This innovative approach increased revenue by 20%, creating a stable sales channel even during the pandemic.
In 2023, the "Huy's Farm Coffee Blossom Honey" brand received OCOP 3-star certification, helping the family expand their market to retail stores and other OCOP product display points.

Thanks to his established brand in the market, from the beginning of 2025 until now, he has sold 28,000 liters of raw and refined honey, while creating jobs for one full-time worker with an income of 6 million VND/month and three seasonal workers with incomes of 5-7 million VND/month.
"Maintaining and developing my family's traditional craft amidst the pandemic wasn't easy for me. But at that time, I thought, if I didn't seize the opportunity quickly, it would slip away. I chose to tell the story of beekeeping, allowing customers to directly see the process and how delicious honey is created. I feel proud that I didn't give up," Huy shared about his entrepreneurial journey.
Born and raised in Ea Hleo commune, Nguyen Thi Cong Linh (born in 1995) showed a passion for business from an early age. After getting married and moving to Krong Buk commune, in 2019, she decided to start her own business with cracked-shell dried macadamia nuts, realizing that this agricultural product in her locality lacked a stable market.
Lack of experience combined with substandard machinery led to a loss of nearly 100 million VND in the first year. Undeterred, she persevered, learning and investing in a standardized machinery system and perfecting her processing techniques. In 2020, she opened her first production facility with an area of 200 m². By 2022, she continued to open a second facility to meet the growing demand.
Besides macadamia nuts, Ms. Linh has expanded her business to include durian, perilla leaves, and betel leaves, supplying them to processing factories. Notably, in 2023, her "Dak Lak Cong Linh Macadamia Nuts" product was recognized as a 3-star OCOP product, allowing her to more easily access potential customers compared to her previous wholesale customers.

In early 2025, her family decided to establish Cong Linh Agricultural Products Import-Export Co., Ltd. Besides creating a stable income for her family, she also provided stable employment for 20-25 local workers with an income of 6-8 million VND per person per month. Not stopping there, recognizing the potential of the local lychee variety, in May 2025, she further expanded her business and purchased and sold 100 tons of lychees. Simultaneously, she developed dried lychee products to enhance the value of local agricultural products and create seasonal jobs for over 100 local workers with an income of 400,000-500,000 VND per person per day.
"I hope my business will not only be profitable but also a source of support for local people to produce with peace of mind. I hope many young people will boldly start their own businesses, because our homeland's agricultural products still have much untapped potential," Linh shared.
The entrepreneurial story of Ms. Nguyen Thi Cong Linh and Mr. Pham Duc Huy is a vivid testament to the spirit of "dare to think, dare to act" right in their familiar land. Their bold steps have not only helped them achieve success but also contributed to job creation, boosted the local economy , and spread the aspiration for sustainable development to the community.
