This information was confirmed by Road Management Area 3 (Vietnam Road Administration) on April 27th. Accordingly, the investors have completed the necessary procedures to open several important sections of the route to traffic after the construction period.

The North-South expressway section passing through Gia Lai province will officially open to traffic at noon on April 29th.
Specifically, the Quang Ngai – Hoai Nhon expressway component project, with Project Management Board 2 ( Ministry of Construction ) as the investor, has completed the acceptance testing of the main route and interchanges (except for the Duc Pho interchange).
The entire route is 88 km long, with its starting point connecting to the Da Nang – Quang Ngai expressway and its end point connecting to the Hoai Nhon – Quy Nhon expressway.
During the initial phase of operation, several items continued to be completed, including the three eastern tunnels, the Duc Pho interchange, the rest stop, the weight control system, the automated toll collection system, and the service roads for local residents.
At the same time, Project Management Board 85 also put into operation the Hoai Nhon – Quy Nhon expressway and a part of the Quy Nhon – Chi Thanh route (the section passing through Gia Lai province), with the end point directly connecting to the Cu Mong tunnel.
The southern section of the Cù Mông tunnel, part of the Quy Nhơn – Chí Thạnh project, is still under construction and will be put into operation upon completion.
Authorities advise that, during the initial period of operation, road users should strictly comply with the Road Traffic Law, pay attention to traffic signs, and maintain a safe distance when traveling on the new expressway.
