Week of Great Unity of Ethnic Groups and Vietnamese Cultural Heritage

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy has just signed and issued the Plan to organize the Week of Great National Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage in 2024.

As planned, the Week of Great National Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage 2024 will take place from November 15 to 24 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi).

This event will have outstanding activities: The 7th Festival of Then singing and Tinh lute art of the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups in 2024; performance, exchange, and introduction of ethnic cultures; Cultural exchange festival of ethnic groups in the Southwest, Central Highlands, and Northwest...

Participating in the Week of "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" in 2024 are more than 200 people of 17 ethnic groups including: Tay, Nung, Dao, Mong, Muong, Lao, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Co Tu, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, Raglai, E De, Khmer, Cho Ro of 12 localities with people participating in daily activities at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village.

In addition, there will be the participation of local people attending the 7th Then singing and Tinh lute art festival of the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups in 2024.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires basic activities carried out by cultural entities, selected with rich themes and content, and of practical significance in preserving and promoting the values ​​of national cultural heritage, and linked with tourism development.

The programs within the framework of the event have typical, suitable and highly artistic content; meet the creative and enjoyment needs of the people; are communal and promote cultural subjects.

At the same time, promote the strengths of ethnic communities operating at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village in association with the participation of localities and units; increase socialization in organizing activities.
