Speaking at the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit on November 27, Putin stressed that Russia will continue to work closely with its CSTO allies to improve combat readiness, strengthen command and control of collective forces, and equip the joint force with modern weapons and equipment that have proven effective in real combat.

In addition to military upgrades, the Russian President also announced plans to build a new counter-terrorism strategy for the CSTO. According to him, Russia will coordinate with other members to identify and destroy terrorist groups, cut off sources of funding, and deploy measures to protect the common information space and prevent the spread of extremist ideology, especially among young people.
In addition, Russia also pledged to strengthen cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking and international counter-terrorism activities, in order to maintain collective security in a multipolar world . Russia's presidency will be focused on the motto "Common Goals - Common Responsibility", demonstrating Russia's commitment to strengthening the potential and security of the entire CSTO.
