Ho Chi Minh City Information Technology Association said that in response to National Digital Transformation Day on October 10, Ho Chi Minh City will organize "Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Week 2024" on October 22 and 23 with many activities, including exhibitions and seminars on information security infrastructure, semiconductor technology... notably the plenary session on Digital Technology - New Growth Driver of Ho Chi Minh City.
According to Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Informatics Association, this is a very meaningful activity, demonstrating many digital transformation results of the city in recent times as well as the city's development orientations in the coming time.
Ho Chi Minh City aims to have 100% of the land management information system, construction licensing, and planning established uniformly in the city by 2025 to maintain, update, and exploit data for urban management and development. Complete the creation of electronic health records of citizens, social security data, etc. and 100% of the city's databases must be stored and managed at the City Data Center, ensuring information security according to regulations.
