On the evening of May 15, despite the light rain, many people came to Nguyen Hue walking street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City to watch and cheer for the Vietnamese women's team in the SEA Games 32 gold medal match against Myanmar.
Although not directly present at the stadium, it did not prevent the enthusiasm of Ho Chi Minh City fans for the Vietnamese women's team.
People of all ages, all present on the walking street turned their attention to the golden girls of Vietnamese football.
The fans were overwhelmed with the opening goal of captain Huynh Nhu in the 12th minute.
The fans held hands tightly waiting for the moment our girls won the gold.

Passionately following each pass of the players, Mr. Du Chi Giang (in blue shirt, living in Hanoi ) shared: "Our girls are extremely excellent. Even though we cheered from afar, I and everyone on the walking street were also very excited following each pass of the girls. I wish the women's football team will reach the continental level and be successful in the World Cup arena."
The frenzied atmosphere at Nguyen Hue walking street is probably no less than that at the Olympic Stadium in the capital Phnom Penh (Cambodia), where the team led by coach Mai Duc Chung is playing for the gold medal.
Two foreign fans attentively follow every move of the Vietnamese women's football team.
With a 2-0 victory over Myanmar, coach Mai Duc Chung's team successfully defended the SEA Games gold medal for the 4th consecutive time.
