The President of VYSA said that for more than 20 years since its establishment, VYSA has always accompanied Vietnamese youth and students in Japan in many projects to support life, study and work.

On May 25, in Tokyo, the Vietnamese Youth and Student Association in Japan (VYSA) opened the 17th Job Fair for Vietnamese in Japan (VYSA JOB FAIR 2024).
This is an annual networking event between businesses and Vietnamese people living, studying and working in Japan. It is also an opportunity for students to orient their careers, as well as improve their practical skills to prepare the best before starting a business in Japan.
According to a VNA reporter in Tokyo, the event was attended by Ms. Huynh Thuy Hanh, First Secretary of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, members of the VYSA Executive Board, representatives of 10 businesses in Japan, and many young Vietnamese people preparing to graduate from universities and vocational schools in Japan, and those who are working in Japan but are looking for a better and more suitable job.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, VYSA President Nguyen Thi Tram Anh said that throughout the journey of more than 20 years since its establishment, VYSA has always accompanied Vietnamese youth and students in Japan in many events and projects to support life, study and work. In particular, the annual VYSA JOB FAIR is one of the largest and most regularly maintained activities, becoming a prestigious bridge between Japanese enterprises and Vietnamese youth for many years.
This year's VYSA JOB FAIR had up to 200 young Vietnamese people register with 10 businesses in Japan to participate in exchange activities, introductions, and job orientation, showing the growing attraction of this event.
Representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, the sponsor of the annual VYSA FOB FAIR, Ms. Huynh Thuy Hanh highly appreciated VYSA's efforts in establishing and regularly maintaining extremely practical job connection activities such as VYSA JOB FAIR, contributing practically to the building of an increasingly strong Vietnamese community in Japan.

Currently, Vietnam ranks second in the number of international students in Japan, after China, so the demand from students about to graduate to find out about job recruitment information from businesses in Japan is very high. On the contrary, Japanese businesses have gradually recovered strongly after the COVID-19 pandemic and are stepping up their recruitment campaigns.
Ms. Huynh Thuy Hanh expressed her hope that through this VYSA JOB FAIR, both employers and job seekers can achieve their goals.
Sharing with VNA reporters, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hoa, Head of Recruitment Department of NAL JAPAN Company, said that this company came to VYSA JOB FAIR this year with the goal of introducing job opportunities in the field of information technology (IT) in positions such as software development engineer (SE) and bridge engineer (BrSE).
Vietnamese IT students are highly appreciated for their English, Japanese and professional skills, so they are of great interest to Japanese businesses.
Mr. Vu Huy Chuong, Director of VNGROUP Real Estate Company, said that this was the first time the company participated in VYSA JOB FAIR and felt the really exciting atmosphere of this job fair. As a real estate company, the company wants to recruit a number of customer service positions to meet the increasing demand for buying or renting houses of Vietnamese people living, working and studying in Japan.
Representing a Japanese company participating in this year’s event, Ms. Inoue Eri, in charge of the human resources department of Mori Kosan Company – a company operating in the field of supporting foreign education in Japan, said that many Vietnamese students are not only good at Japanese but also have very good teaching skills. This is the reason why the company really wants to recruit Vietnamese employees to teach Japanese to foreigners at partner units in Japan.
As a prestigious and completely free annual event, coming to the VYSA JOB FAIR event, young Vietnamese people have the opportunity to find jobs suitable for their major at universities or vocational schools; learn about salaries as well as other benefits; meet and exchange directly with employers about future jobs./.
