Binh Duong Youth: Spreading learning and following Uncle Ho

After 3 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW on continuing to implement Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo "On promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", Binh Duong youth have implemented many good and creative ways to make studying and following Uncle Ho more widespread and profound.

Recently, the Provincial Youth Union has organized to honor many typical individuals and collectives in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

Spread the good examples

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said that with the motto "A living example is better than a hundred propaganda speeches...", in recent years, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has promoted propaganda work with many diverse and creative forms, suitable for young people. In practice, many new models and good practices have emerged in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings in all fields, such as: Commending advanced youths who follow Uncle Ho's teachings, holding thematic activities "Remembering Uncle Ho makes our hearts purer", organizing and launching high-point emulation campaigns associated with major holidays. In particular, Binh Duong youth have created and organized propaganda infographic products "A saying of Uncle Ho every day", "A story about Uncle Ho every week", "A good news every day - A beautiful story every week", "Bright mirror corner"...

In addition, the Youth Union at all levels has focused on discovering, nurturing, praising and replicating advanced models. Through programs to honor typical examples of Uncle Ho's good children at the provincial level, the festival of advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings (every 2 years) to vote for typical examples in studying and following Uncle Ho. Thereby, it has created a spreading influence and a beautiful image of Binh Duong youth in studying, working, producing and living, especially propagating, introducing and replicating typical models throughout the Union.

Practice, strive and grow

“Remembering Uncle Ho makes our hearts brighter”, in recent years, Binh Duong youth have maintained the organization of Uncle Ho’s death anniversary. Through this event, many activities and good models in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style have been effectively and creatively implemented by the union members and young people in the province, helping each young person to fully and deeply perceive the role and importance of cultivating moral qualities following Uncle Ho’s example, perfecting themselves, and being worthy of being a youth of the Ho Chi Minh generation.

At the same time, on the occasion of Uncle Ho's birthday (May 19), the Provincial Youth Union organized high-profile activities with many diverse forms, attracting a large number of union members, youth and children to participate, such as: Building a set of infographics to propagate the teachings and sayings of President Ho Chi Minh; a peak political activity week with annual themes such as "Lifelong learning following Uncle Ho's example", "May gifts for Him"...; launching a tree planting campaign; a writing contest "Remembering Uncle Ho makes our hearts brighter"; organizing a forum "Aspiration to contribute - Youth's way of life", "Youth workers' festival following Uncle Ho"...

According to Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thao, when implementing Conclusion 01, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has oriented and directed all levels of the Youth Union to regularly, extensively and systematically organize activities to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Thereby, the awareness of cadres, union members and young people about studying and following Uncle Ho is increasingly enhanced, becoming a personal need, an important and regular task for each youth union member to continue to make efforts to study, practice, strive and mature.
