According to Mr. Phung Minh Triet, Secretary of the Phu Huu Commune Youth Union, in recent times, the Youth Union's work and youth movements in Phu Huu commune have seen many positive changes, becoming more in-depth, closely following the local political tasks and the practical needs of young people. Notably, the effective implementation of the three major Youth Union movements has clearly affirmed the pioneering, volunteer, and creative role of young people in building and developing their homeland. The Commune Youth Union organized many campaigns with the participation of hundreds of Youth Union members and young people, such as activities in response to Youth Month, the summer youth volunteer campaign, Volunteer Saturday, and Green Sunday...

The Phu Huu Commune Youth Union has carried out many specific projects and tasks such as cleaning and collecting waste on rural roads, planting and caring for hundreds of trees; clearing bushes and improving the environmental landscape; and repairing and upgrading rural roads. Pham Chi Thanh, a member of the Vinh Loi Hamlet Youth Union, shared: “The Youth Union's work and youth movements in recent times have brought many practical results, demonstrating the pioneering, volunteer, and creative role of young people in building their homeland. Youth Union activities have made a positive contribution to educating members and young people on politics, ideology, ethics, and lifestyle.”

Every year, the Phu Huu Commune Youth Union mobilizes resources to build and repair at least one charitable house for young people in difficult housing situations, contributing to helping families stabilize their lives. At the same time, hundreds of gifts are given to poor and near-poor households and families receiving preferential treatment. Many scholarships, notebooks, and school supplies are also provided to students in difficult circumstances. These activities mobilize the active participation of Youth Union members and young people, along with social resources, creating a widespread impact in the community. These meaningful actions deeply spread the spirit of mutual support and compassion, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Youth Union and arousing social responsibility in each Youth Union member and young person.

With support from the Phu Huu Commune Youth Union for house repairs, Mr. Pham Thanh Tai, residing in Vinh Loi hamlet, Phu Huu commune, shared: “Previously, my house was dilapidated, leaking during rain and drafts, making daily life very inconvenient, especially during the rainy season. Thanks to the Youth Union's care and support for repairs, my family now has a more stable place to live. I am very grateful for this care and assistance. This is not only material support but also a source of encouragement for my family to work hard and improve our lives.”

Propaganda and mobilization efforts to encourage youth union members to actively study and apply scientific and technological advancements to production and daily life have been given attention. Many youth-led economic models have been formed and developed, such as efficient crop and livestock farming models, and the application of new techniques in agricultural production, contributing to increased productivity and income. Youth union members also actively participate in maintaining local security and order. Mr. Tran Thanh That, Secretary of the Phu Huu Commune Police Youth Union, said: “I believe that with the enthusiasm and support of all levels, the youth of Phu Huu will continue to uphold traditions, be proactive and creative, and contribute to building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland.”

According to Mr. Phung Minh Triet, in the coming time, the Phu Huu Commune Youth Union will continue to innovate the content and methods of its activities. The Youth Union will strengthen the education of revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyles through diverse and flexible forms, in line with current trends, such as applying social media and digital platforms in propaganda, organizing thematic activities, and youth forums. Simultaneously, it will focus on innovating the content and methods of organizing movements in a concrete, practical direction, with clear results and targets, avoiding formality; the focus will be on activities participating in building new rural areas, protecting the environment, digital transformation, supporting youth entrepreneurship and career development; innovating the work of uniting and gathering youth, improving the quality of the Youth Union organization, and promoting care for children.
