On the afternoon of August 18, the Thai women's team entered their final official training session in Hai Phong before entering the third-place match with the Vietnamese women's team.
According to Siam Sports , the training session was intense and focused under the direction of Japanese head coach Futoshi Ikeda.
The "War Elephants" spent about 1 hour and 30 minutes focusing on reviewing tactical aspects, from attack, defense to set pieces.
The careful preparation clearly shows Thailand's determination to avenge the "debt" in the group stage, where they lost to Vietnam with a score of 0-1.

Before the training session, midfielder Rinyaphat Moondong shared strongly: "The team's situation is getting better. We have recovered our physical strength and carefully studied Vietnam's playing style.
Although everyone regrets not being able to reach the final as planned, now we have to focus completely on the third-place match, which is no less meaningful."
The female player also emphasized about the rematch: "Meeting Vietnam for the second time in this tournament will definitely be very interesting. Both teams have seen each other's weaknesses. We will try our best, hopefully this will be a good day of competition for Thailand."
The third-place match between Thailand and host Vietnam will take place at 4:30 p.m. on August 19 at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong).
With the spirit of determination to "revenge", the Thai girls promise to be a big challenge for coach Mai Duc Chung and his team.
