The Vietnamese women's team concluded the 2026 Asian Cup qualifiers with a convincing 4-0 victory over the Guam women's team on the evening of July 5. Although they only needed a draw to advance, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team still played an attacking game and asserted their superiority in Group E.

In the first 45 minutes, the Vietnamese women's team scored 3 goals thanks to Nguyen Thi Van's goals in the 2nd minute, and Bich Thuy's double in the 13th and 26th minutes. The overwhelming strength of the Vietnamese women's team made it impossible for the Guam girls to make a difference and could only huddle together to defend.
