Also attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and organizations; delegation of Phu Ninh district (China); event sponsors; beauties from the Miss Vietnam 2025 contest; leaders of communes and wards in the province; domestic and international travel companies.
The event aims to promote the beauty of the Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark, honor the cultural identity of ethnic groups living in the area; and at the same time affirm the determination to make tourism a key economic sector of the province after the reorganization of provincial administrative units.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee announced the Appeal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province, mobilizing cadres, people, armed forces, businesses and tourists to join hands to support the people of the South Central region to overcome the consequences of floods.
Donations made through scanning the QR code on the LED screen or transferring money directly to the account of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee are deeply humane and spread the spirit of "compatriotism".

In her opening speech, Ms. Vuong Ngoc Ha, Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee, said that after the merger, Tuyen Quang province has a natural area of 13,795.36 km², a population of 1,865,270 people, including 124 commune-level administrative units (117 communes, 7 wards). The province has 277.5 km of border adjacent to Yunnan province (China).
Ms. Ha emphasized that Tuyen Quang is a land with a special position in the history of the nation, entering a new stage of development with a wide open economic, cultural and tourism space. The province converges the identities of more than 20 ethnic groups with many national intangible cultural heritages such as Then singing - Tinh lute, Mong panpipe dance, Dao people's cap sac ceremony, Pa Then fire dancing festival.
The natural landscape is notable for Na Hang – Lam Binh Nature Reserve, Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark, and rich primary forest ecosystems. This is also the "Liberated Capital – Resistance Capital" with typical red addresses such as Tan Trao Communal House, Na Nua Pavilion, and important sovereignty landmarks such as Lung Cu Flagpole.

The 1st Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, identified 5 major goals: sustainable development; GRDP growth of over 8%/year; promoting digital transformation; making tourism a spearhead economic sector; and maintaining border security. The province is synchronously implementing solutions with high consensus from the people.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his gratitude for the Government's attention; the support of ministries and branches; the coordination of localities; the companionship of businesses, artisans, artists; and the support of the press and the affection of tourists and ethnic people in the province. This is an important foundation to help Tuyen Quang continue to make breakthroughs in the coming years.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the brand of the Buckwheat Flower Festival in Tuyen Quang province and honored the tourism titles in 2025, including:
Lo Lo Chai community tourism village was honored by the World Tourism Organization as "The best community tourism village in the world" .
Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark received the award "Asia's Leading Cultural Destination" .
Panhou Tourist Area (Thong Nguyen) won the title "Asia's Leading Green Resort" .
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the national tourism award to H'mong Village (best green hotel) and Pa Vi Community Cultural Tourism Village (best community tourism destination).

Right after the ceremony was the art program "Blooming Stone Land" consisting of three segments: Legend of a Flower , Blooming Stone Land and Date with the Plateau . The audience enjoyed many unique cultural performances of the Stone Plateau people and Tuyen Quang such as "Xao Xuyen Dong Van", "Hello Tuyen Quang", "Mùa hoa tam giac mach", "Tinh ca cao nguyen đá",...
The program recreates the legendary beauty of buckwheat flowers, the changing colors of the plateau and the aspirations of the people of Tuyen Quang through the songs "Highland Market", "That's How Highland People Are", "Tuyen Quang Reaches Heights".

The event not only marked an important turning point in the province's tourism industry, affirming Tuyen Quang as an attractive, safe and friendly destination; but also created more motivation for the people in the province to promote the spirit of solidarity, compete in socio-economic development, honor and spread unique natural and cultural values, towards the goal of sustainable tourism development.
This year's festival lasts until the end of December 2025 at rest stops and community cultural tourism villages in the Stone Plateau communes, promising to bring visitors unique and memorable experiences.
