Accordingly, the Polish government covers tuition fees and dormitory accommodation at the rates applicable to local students (students only pay for dormitory accommodation themselves). The Vietnamese government provides one-way and return airfare, travel expenses, passport and visa fees, health insurance, and a monthly living allowance according to current regulations for scholarship students studying in Poland under the Agreement.
The duration of undergraduate and doctoral programs is 3 to 4 years, while master's programs are 2 years (not including a one-year preparatory course in Polish).
Poland does not accept students for training in fields related to medicine, pharmacy, or the arts.
Candidates will be given priority consideration if they are currently working in state agencies or educational institutions; have won international awards, awards in national, provincial, or city-level student competitions; have won official awards in competitions in the fields of art, physical education, or sports; are from ethnic minorities, belong to poor households, are children of martyrs, or reside in mountainous or island areas with good academic results; or have many outstanding achievements in their studies and training, and in scientific research.
Scholarships for studying in Poland prioritize candidates in fields such as defense, security, high technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, quantum computing, blockchain, energy technology, advanced materials, rare earth technology, oceanography, subsurface engineering, aerospace technology, semiconductor industry, energy, nuclear technology, railways, biotechnology, law, etc.
The scholarship also prioritizes candidates who are enrolled in training programs approved by the Prime Minister and currently being implemented by the Ministry of Education and Training, meeting the requirements of this scholarship program; and candidates who are sent to study in fields related to national defense, security, high technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, quantum computing, blockchain, energy technology, advanced materials, rare earth technology, oceanography, subsurface engineering, aerospace technology, semiconductor industry, energy, nuclear technology, railways, biotechnology, law, etc., as stipulated in projects and programs approved by competent authorities.

The deadline for submitting applications to the Department of International Cooperation is April 25th. The Ministry of Education and Training stated that it will only consider applicants with complete and valid applications according to regulations and will pre-select candidates based on the selection criteria to nominate them to the Polish side.
Candidates nominated by the Ministry of Education and Training who have been approved by the Polish Government for a scholarship will be notified, guided, and assisted with the necessary procedures by the Department of International Cooperation to study in Poland in October 2026.
