Ryhan Stewart went to Europe to play football.

Singaporean media reported that defender Ryhan Stewart will move to Lithuania to play for FK Riteriai. Previously, he was a player for Albirex Niigata in Singapore. This contract is for 2 years and he aims to become a regular player. Sterwart is the first Singaporean player to play in Lithuania.

The player born in 2000 is of mixed race. His father is Welsh and his mother is Singaporean. Ryhan started playing football when he was studying at Hong Kah High School. Stewart's younger brother is Harhys Stewart (born in 2001) who plays for Chiangrai United in Thailand.

In fact, Ryhan Stewart is no stranger to Vietnamese fans. He and U22 Singapore suffered a heavy 0-7 defeat against U22 Vietnam in the U22 Southeast Asian Championship 3 years ago. This player did not play badly, but under great pressure from the "golden star warriors", he and his teammates could not stand firm and lost consecutively.

At the AFF Cup 2024, Stewart's performance was much more outstanding. He was an important factor in helping the Lion Island team advance to the semi-finals. In the first leg in Singapore, Ryhan Stewart came off the bench and caused many difficulties for the away team. Unfortunately, the brilliance of Tien Linh and Xuan Son helped Vietnam win.

In the second leg, Ryhan Stewart was placed in the starting lineup as a left winger. Unfortunately, the Vietnamese team played even better than the first leg. Nguyen Xuan Son scored 2 goals and Tien Linh scored 1 goal to help the home team win easily 3-1. Ryahn Stewart lost in both matches against Nguyen Xuan Son.

However, the Singaporean player has shown great effort in his career. He used to play for BG Pahtum United of Thailand and scored in the 2023 AFC Champions League.

To achieve this success, he had to go through many domestic teams such as Warriors FC, Home United and Tampines Rovers, then trialed at Chiangmai United. After that, Stewart continued to convince small teams in Europe with his performance.
