Propaganda on disaster prevention and mitigation and regulations on dam safety assurance

In addition, the people were informed by specialized officers of Dong Nai Hydropower Company about the following contents: Introduction to the two Hydropower Plants Dong Nai 3 and Dong Nai 4; the role of the two plants in providing electricity, reducing floods and regulating water for irrigation and daily life in the downstream areas.

As part of the Conference program, Dong Nai Hydropower Company has a number of gifts to present to the Government and people in Dinh Trang Thuong commune including: 10 solar-powered lighting poles for public works worth 20 million VND; 1,000 notebooks for students worth 15 million VND; 100 life jackets for people living in the reservoir area.

Dong Nai 3 Hydropower Reservoir is a special project with a capacity of 1,690.10 x 106 m3.
The dam is 572 m long and has a maximum height of 108 m.
