The Minister of Education and Training has just sent a telegram on proactively responding to Storm No. 3 (Yagi) to the directors of the Department of Education and Training of the northern provinces and cities from Nghe An and above. Accordingly, schools organize the opening ceremony of the new school year in a compact, safe manner, suitable to local conditions.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 p.m. on September 3, the center of Storm No. 3 ( Yagi ) was located in the eastern sea of the North East Sea, with the strongest wind near the center of the storm at level 10 (89 - 102 km/h), gusting to level 12.

Storm No. 3 is forecast to make landfall directly in the Northern provinces at very strong intensity, especially in the provinces and cities of Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, and Ninh Binh.

To proactively respond to Storm No. 3, the Minister of Education and Training requested the directors of the Department of Education and Training of the northern provinces/cities from Nghe An and above to seriously implement a number of contents:

Closely monitor the storm's developments, be on duty 24/7; maintain regular contact with authorities and local rescue forces to promptly respond in case of incidents, implementing the "4 on-site" motto.

Educational institutions should organize opening ceremonies that are compact, safe, and appropriate to local conditions. Absolutely do not organize opening ceremonies in areas with heavy rains that are at risk of landslides and flooding.

To minimize damage caused by storms, the Ministry requires units to develop plans and promptly relocate assets, machinery, equipment, tables, chairs, records, and books to safe places to ensure no damage, loss, or loss...

Immediately after the storm, it is necessary to promptly repair the damage; clean and sanitize the school/classroom, ensure safety, cleanliness, and prevent epidemics to prepare conditions for the new school year.

The Minister also requested the directors of the Departments of Education and Training to continuously update information, summarize the damage and develop a plan to report to the Provincial People's Committee for remediation, and at the same time report to the Ministry.
