Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of Hong Linh Town People's Committee Nguyen Huy Hung informed: "With the participation of the entire political system and the people of the whole town, the movement to build a civilized urban area has achieved encouraging results, urban infrastructure has received investment attention; many urban beautification works have been renovated and upgraded.
Up to now, Bac Hong ward has achieved 6/9 criteria, 48/52 sub-items; Nam Hong ward has achieved 4/9 criteria, 44/52 sub-items; Dau Lieu ward has achieved 5/9 criteria, 47/52 sub-items. Hong Linh town has completed 55/63 criteria for a type III urban area".
In order for the movement to continue to be effective, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Linh town requested that wards and communes closely follow the approved project, maximize local advantages, have solutions to continue to improve the achieved criteria, strive to complete the unachieved criteria... Accordingly, the wards: Bac Hong, Nam Hong and Dau Lieu strive to meet civilized urban standards in the first 9 months of 2024; the remaining 2 localities (Duc Thuan and Trung Luong wards) meet civilized urban standards in 2025.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Tran Bao Ha, Le Ngoc Chau and leaders of Hong Linh Town awarded the flag of determination to build a ward that meets civilized urban standards to localities.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha, leaders of Hong Linh Town and local people participated in planting trees at the resettlement area in TDP 7, Bac Hong Ward. According to the plan, Hong Linh Town will plant nearly 8,500 trees in 2024.
Delegates broke ground for the construction of a small park at Residential Group 8, Nam Hong Ward.
