At Vietcombank , the buying rate is listed at 28,430 VND/EUR, the selling rate is 29,988 VND/EUR, up 30 VND and 32 VND respectively compared to before. This is one of the strongest increases in the group of large banks.
At VietinBank , the euro was also adjusted up 24 VND in both directions, trading around 28,726 (buy) - 29,981 VND/EUR (sell).
Techcombank quoted the buying price at 28,544 VND/EUR, the selling price at 29,915 VND/EUR, an increase of 16 VND in the buying price and 19 VND in the selling price compared to the previous session.
Sacombank also slightly increased its buying price by 2 VND and selling price by 4 VND, trading at 28,801 - 29,681 VND/EUR. This is currently the bank with the highest buying price for Euro among the surveyed units.
HSBC listed the exchange rate at 28,563 - 29,671 VND/EUR, up 19 VND and 20 VND respectively.
Meanwhile, BIDV is a rare bank that adjusted the exchange rate down, at 28,708 VND/EUR (buy) and 29,959 VND/EUR (sell), down 4 VND and 7 VND respectively.
Eximbank recorded a slight increase of 3 VND in buying price, reaching 28,703 VND/EUR, while the selling price decreased by 7 VND, to 29,689 VND/EUR.
Overall, the buying rate of Euro at banks currently fluctuates between 28,430 - 28,801 VND/EUR, while the selling rate is in the range of 29,671 - 29,988 VND/EUR.
In the black market, the exchange rate also fluctuated slightly: the buying price increased by 7 VND to 29,313 VND/EUR, while the selling price decreased by 43 VND to 29,423 VND/EUR.
In the international market, at 10:00 (Vietnam time), the euro was traded at 1.12285 USD/EUR, down slightly by 0.00196 units compared to the previous session. This may be the reason why banks adjusted the domestic euro exchange rate slightly to adapt to global developments.
