Speaking with Nguoi Dua Tin , a representative of Tan Phu District People's Committee said that, regarding Nguoi Dua Tin 's reflection on many illegal resort service business locations on agricultural land in Nam Cat Tien commune, up to now, Nam Cat Tien Commune People's Committee has not yet provided complete documents or reports to serve the inspection and handling of violations previously reported by the press.

Previously, on August 29, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Tan Phu district issued Report No. 170/BC-TNMT on the implementation results of Document No. 2263/UBND-NN of the District People's Committee.

The results of the handling are as follows: At the Orchard home Resort area with the signboard Orchard home on plots of land number 4, 7, 18, 36, 53, 54, 65, 66 on map sheet number 4, total area ^82,322.4m2 in Nam Cat Tien commune, with Mr. Tran Vinh Hai as the land user.

Nam Cat Tien Commune People's Committee has inspected and handled administrative violations in the field of land against Mr. Tran Vinh Hai (in Report No. 182/TTr-UBND).

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinated with the Department of Justice to advise the District People's Committee to issue a decision on administrative sanctions in the field of land according to regulations. Mr. Hai has fully complied with the decision on administrative sanctions.

The remaining areas: Rice Straw Green Lodge - Resort area at land plot number 232, map sheet number 6, area 2352.1m ² Nam Cat Tien commune; Forest Breath Eco Lodge area at land plot number 261, 248, map sheet number 6, total area 3859.7m ² (BHK) Nam Cat Tien commune; Green Bambo Lodge Bird, Lodge River Liedge area at land plot number 276, 277, map sheet number 6, total area 5801.8m ² (BHK) Nam Cat Tien commune; Area at map plot number 124, 139, map sheet number 13 and part of the alluvial area along the Dong Nai river.

For these 4 areas, the People's Committee of Nam Cat Tien commune has not provided documents or reports to serve the inspection and handling of violations.

In Document No. 3229/UBND-NN dated September 5, 2024 of Tan Phu District People's Committee, it is required to urgently report the results (to be completed no later than September 9, 2024).

On September 16, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Tan Phu district continued to issue Document 419/TNMT on monitoring and urging the implementation of the direction of the District People's Committee, assigning the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Cat Tien commune to urgently provide information, records and documents related to 5 areas as recorded by Nguoi Dua Tin .

Propose to inspect and clarify the responsibilities of organizations and individuals

It is known that after Nguoi Dua Tin published a series of articles: Dong Nai: A series of tourist accommodation establishments were built without permission; Dong Nai: Checking and handling resort service business locations with signs of illegal construction; Dong Nai: Need to strictly handle cases of construction on agricultural land, reflecting on the fact that many homestays, Glamping, and resorts in Nam Cat Tien commune have signs of illegal construction on agricultural land, despite regulations.

The Economic - Infrastructure Department coordinated with the District Department of Natural Resources and Environment to conduct inspections and determined that all construction works were not for the correct land use purpose (according to Report No. 52/BC-KTHT dated September 4, 2024).

Afterwards, Tan Phu District People's Committee issued a document pointing out that Nam Cat Tien Commune People's Committee had not fully fulfilled its responsibilities in planning, construction and land management in the locality.

Tan Phu District People's Committee requested the Chairman of Nam Cat Tien Commune People's Committee to clarify the responsibilities of individuals and collectives in each period in allowing the situation of large-scale construction works without legal documents, showing signs of large-scale law violations in the area, with completion date before August 5, 2024.

It can be seen that, up to now, Tan Phu District People's Committee and related departments are resolutely handling violations reported by the press.

The leaders of the District People's Committee directly criticized, reminded and at the same time issued a document urging and requesting the implementation of a report on the handling results, but up to now, the People's Committee of Nam Cat Tien commune continues to "procrastinate".

The question raised by public opinion is, when will Nam Cat Tien Commune People's Committee provide complete documents or reports to serve the inspection and handling of violations in the area?
