The source said that Ukraine's attack on a key Russian facility in the early hours of November 9 was part of a broader strategy targeting ammunition factories that support the defense industry and efforts to sustain a special operation that Moscow launched in Ukraine in February 2022.
On the same day, according to AP , a Ukrainian official confirmed that President Zelensky had a phone call with US President-elect Donald Trump. Notably, the call between the two sides also included billionaire Elon Musk. The official said that Mr. Trump appeared to have given his phone to Mr. Musk and the Ukrainian President thanked the SpaceX boss for helping his country access the Starlink satellite internet platform.
The details of this call were not disclosed.
Mr. Musk’s presence on the call underscores his influence on the president-elect’s team. During the campaign, Mr. Trump said that Mr. Musk could take on an official role in his administration if he were elected.
Billionaire Elon Musk has spent nearly $120 million on efforts to support Mr. Trump, and has used the X/Twitter platform to spread information supporting the Republican candidate's campaign.
