Diversify sales methods.
The Women's Union of Quang Trach commune has over 4,200 members, organized into 14 branches. In recent years, along with the implementation of the Government's project to support women's entrepreneurship, the Women's Union of the commune has actively accompanied women in developing their economy . As a result, many large-scale and highly effective economic models run by women have emerged in the area.
To produce, sell, and sell goods, many women have embraced digital technology to promote their products and expand their markets. Many who were previously only familiar with traditional sales methods now know how to create videos and take photos to promote their products, livestream on Facebook and Zalo, or accept cashless payments.
The Quang Phuong Bamboo Weaving Production and Service Cooperative is headed by Ms. Phan Thi Thuy, who is also the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. The cooperative not only preserves the traditional craft but also creates stable employment for many local women workers.

Ms. Thuy said: “Previously, the cooperative mainly sold products in the traditional way, so we had few customers. But in the last few years, we have posted images and videos introducing our products on Facebook and Zalo for promotion, so the number of orders has increased significantly.” Currently, the cooperative produces more than 30,000 skewered rattan products annually, generating revenue of over 1.8 billion VND and creating jobs for 15 local women. The cooperative's products have received OCOP 3-star certification and have been recognized as typical provincial products for many consecutive years.
One of the pioneering women in applying digital technology to sales is Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Quy, Director and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Thanh Xuan Production, Trade and Service Cooperative. The cooperative's herbal salt-cured chicken is produced on a modern production line with a systematic processing procedure, achieving OCOP 3-star standard. To introduce the product, Ms. Quy uses Facebook to conduct live sales sessions. Her approachable and witty way of speaking has helped many consumers learn about the product and trust it.
Ms. Quy shared: “Initially, I was very hesitant to livestream because I wasn't used to speaking on the phone. But after being encouraged by my colleagues and learning more about online sales techniques, my sales performance improved significantly. Some days, I can sell dozens of products in just a few hours of livestreaming.” On average, the Thanh Xuan Production, Trade and Service Cooperative supplies about 300 salt-cured chickens to the market each month, generating revenue of over 800 million VND annually and creating jobs for many local women workers…
A shared "home" for women
Despite achieving many positive results, the application of digital technology in the production and consumption of goods by women in Quang Trach still faces difficulties, such as: uneven technological skills among members; fragmented connections between economic models; and limited ability of some women to build brands and expand markets for local products. Based on this reality, in April 2026, the Women's Union of Quang Trach commune established the "Women Entrepreneurs with Digital Technology" Club to create an environment for women to connect and support each other in business.
Ms. Dau Thi Phuong Lan, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Quang Trach commune, said: "Currently, the number of women engaged in economic activities in the area is increasing, but most still operate independently. Therefore, the union hopes to build a common 'home' where women can support each other in promoting products, learning sales skills on digital platforms, and connecting with markets. Digital technology is an opportunity for women to enhance their competitiveness and gradually assert their position in economic development."
To date, the club has 60 female members with effective production and business models. To support its members, the Women's Union of Quang Trach commune is establishing an "online market," providing training in livestreaming skills, managing online sales channels, promoting products on social media, and learning business experiences from successful models. The club also connects members to sell their products and builds a common promotional network for local products...
According to Ms. Lan, in the coming time, the association will continue to coordinate the organization of training courses on online sales skills, product promotion on digital platforms, support women in accessing e-commerce and cashless payments; and at the same time, replicate effective women's entrepreneurship models, creating conditions for women to link production and build brands for local products.
