After 15 years of living with spinal disease (from 2001 to 2015) and undergoing 4 major and minor surgeries, there was a time when he was severely beaten by illness. The aftereffects of the surgeries combined with his illness caused Ung Hoang Phuc to almost lose all his health, and he was bedridden because his back was always in pain.

Whenever someone told him where there was a good doctor, Ung Hoang Phuc would go there regardless of whether it was in the North or the South. That caused the male singer's career to be interrupted, his life to fall into a deadlock, he was exhausted and no longer had enough strength to pursue his passion.

“At that time, I had to grit my teeth and endure the excruciating pain, but I still had to sing so I couldn’t give it my all on stage. That made me very sad. I felt like I was disabled. Even though I couldn’t accept it, I was powerless,” the male singer recounted.

Ung Hoang Phuc had lived with spinal disease for 15 years.

Throughout the difficult years, fortunately, singer Ung Hoang Phuc always had someone by his side to help him overcome difficult times and deadlocks, his wife Kim Cuong.

Luckily, Kim Cuong saw my difficulties and deadlocks but was still determined to accompany me through it."
