Donating a Natural Science classroom to Nguyen Du Secondary School

The project of Natural Science classroom at Nguyen Du Secondary School was implemented by the Ward People's Committee from renovating 2 existing chemistry - biology rooms into 1 technology room with a total area of 115m² to serve the project sponsored by Audiovisual Education Joint Stock Company with a sponsorship amount of over 1.1 billion VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of Audiovisual Education Joint Stock Company Bui Thi Hai Hanh said that the Company has donated to the school a set of modern natural science equipment and digital learning materials in accordance with the 2018 education program and Circular 38/2021/TT-BGDDT on the list of minimum teaching equipment for junior high school level of the Ministry of Education and Training for a national standard subject classroom; at the same time, ensuring the regulation that every 6 students will have 1 complete set of experiments, including all experiments from grades 6 to 9, along with all digital learning materials (videos, 3D software, electronic learning materials) so that teachers have full tools to support students in exploring science. Among them are outstanding equipment such as: Data receiver, interactive screen, laptop, a set of electronic lesson plans compiled in accordance with the requirements of the 2018 program.

After this donation, the Company will send two engineers to the school to train teachers on how to use the equipment most effectively.

Thereby, helping teachers reduce classroom work, bringing excitement and joy to scientific discovery for students, in line with the spirit of the 2018 general education program and STEM education. This is also the model that the Company has equipped for 8 southern provinces with more than 500 classrooms.

On this occasion, the Company also awarded 10 "Support to School" scholarships (1 million VND/scholarship) to students who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies.

It is known that in recent years, with the attention of the Party, the State, all levels, all sectors, and the consensus of the people, the education work in Buon Ho ward has had positive changes. However, the facilities for teaching and learning in some schools in the area are still facing many difficulties and shortages, not meeting the increasing needs of teaching and learning in the new era.

Through the review and assessment of the facilities of public educational institutions in the ward, 16/24 schools met the requirements, 8/24 schools did not meet the requirements. Therefore, investing in building more practice classrooms is an extremely urgent and meaningful task. This is not simply a construction project, but the crystallization of the sense of responsibility, of consensus and solidarity between the government, schools, organizations, businesses and all the people.
