
At the meeting, expressing his joy at welcoming the leaders of H&M Group to visit and work with the Hanoi People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Truong Viet Dung highly appreciated H&M's products and expressed his hope that the group will soon increase its presence in Hanoi.
Sharing some general features of the economic development situation of the capital, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Truong Viet Dung assessed that Hanoi is a market with large purchasing power and great potential for H&M's product segment.
Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung said that Hanoi is aiming to develop a digital economy and will invest in logistics infrastructure to support economic efforts; at the same time, it hopes to receive investment from H&M.

Affirming that Vietnam is a strategic market for H&M in the region, Mr. Saed El-Achkar said that the group wishes to expand its business activities in Hanoi, including a flagship high-end store, along with expanding the digital business system. H&M's regional leaders expect that the city government will provide necessary directions, guidance, and support for this effort.
Appreciating these ideas, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Truong Viet Dung made a number of recommendations for H&M, paying special attention to the group's desire to develop a digital business platform. According to him, this is an approach similar to the current development trend of the capital, and the two sides need to soon promote cooperation in this aspect.
Expressing his belief that the cooperation between H&M Group and Hanoi city will be effective and beneficial for both sides, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee affirmed that the Hanoi government will support and accompany H&M Group in its investment and cooperation efforts in the area.
At the meeting, the two sides also spent time discussing a number of issues of mutual concern.
