Hanoi increases bus routes to serve the 2025 Autumn Fair

In order to facilitate people and tourists to visit and shop at the 2025 Autumn Fair, Hanoi City has increased connecting bus routes to serve the event.

Based on the proposal of the Department of Construction in Report No. 328/BC-SXD dated October 17, 2025, the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the City Police, Department of Finance, Department of Culture and Sports , Dong Anh Commune People's Committee, Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company and related units to organize and increase bus routes from the center and the East, West and South directions of the capital to the Vietnam Exhibition Center during the fair.

Bus routes will be flexibly adjusted in terms of frequency, vehicles, and routes, ensuring smooth, safe, and convenient traffic, meeting the travel needs of residents and tourists. Along with that, the city requires promoting information, propaganda, and widely announcing bus routes and schedules for people to easily access and use.

The Department of Construction is also assigned to arrange a parking system, organize internal traffic, install signs, and guide safe movement within the Exhibition Center, while ensuring traffic order, environmental sanitation, and fire prevention and fighting in the entire area.

In addition, the City Police will preside over and coordinate with relevant units to ensure security, order, traffic safety and fire prevention and fighting, promptly handle arising situations, and prevent congestion and incidents during the 2025 Autumn Fair.

Regarding resources, the Department of Finance is assigned to coordinate and guide the use of funds economically, effectively and in accordance with regulations in the process of organizing and operating the bus system serving the fair.

The 2025 Autumn Fair is a national trade promotion event, expected to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors. The enhancement of public transport connections is expected to reduce pressure on personal vehicles, contributing to creating a civilized and modern appearance for the capital's major event.
